Release Time:2018-01-08Browse:

Santa Clara, CA – 8th of January 2018 – Today Amlogic launched its A113X1 Far-Field Development Kit for the Amazon Alexa Voice Service (AVS). The dev kit is powered by the A113X SoC which was designed from the ground up to raise the bar in terms of audio quality and flexibility.
The A113X SoC boasts an audio pipeline that supports high fidelity audio with soft DSP algorithms for both frontend and backend processing. Amlogic’s voice control leverages DSP Concepts’ experience in frontend DSP algorithms. Tests show that this dev kit outperforms the most popular voice control systems under normal as well as noisy environments.
“The A113X SoC is ideally designed to enable next-generation voice control products with an enhanced user experience and at price points that are not possible with devices on the market today,” says Mike Yip, CTO at Amlogic. “OEM and other developers will be able to leverage this performance to build differentiating AVS products.”
“The new development kit for AVS from Amlogic provides fully integrated technologies to help developers more easily evaluate, prototype and build Alexa-enabled products,” said Priya Abani, Director, Alexa Voice Service at Amazon. “We look forward to seeing the new innovative voice-forward experiences OEMs will create for customers.”
